We are Sue & Tim Tiger, and we have been gardening our whole lives. Sue’s grandfather was a farming banker from Nebraska who brought the family to Pekin, IL in the 50’s. Tim started at a young age helping his mother and grandmother pick vegetables from their home garden. Then, he would help cook their creations for the family dinners. We married in 2016 and immediately made a home garden with lots of organic raised beds. We began canning from our garden and suddenly had two closets of canned goods leftover from the winter. “We started selling our canned goods in 2019 at the Urbana Farmer’s Market and love the community! What we don’t grow in our own garden, we get from the other vendors at the market. We all support each other! We have a dozen varieties of salsas, pickles, jellies, jams, a few soups, and a few sauces. We eat everything we can over the winter, we just have tons of left-overs. Enough to share and sell at the Farmer’s Market!”

Sue has also begun making videos of all of the products they make so you can learn how to can, too! As we wholeheartedly believe, Anyone Can Can … and Everyone Should!
